Planking = slavers stacked slaves on plank beds face down, on top of each other, hands chained to their waist and called it planking the slaves. Slaves were forces to sit in own bodily fluids as well as others. This created unsanitary living environment causing many to die and because slavers didn’t care, they left the dead planked and chained with the remaining slaves.
